I just finished my learning of Metaverse on Coursera and I moved on to my next course as I planned, which is Launch Your Online Business.
And, It is SOOO GOOD! It\’s a four-week course and I am at the very beginning, the first chapter of week 1. And When I was studying, I am fully inspired. I screamed thousands of times \”This is amazing!\” when I am going through the course.
And that\’s why I have changed the name of this site from tinaaaaager to deintina. It is more recognizable, easier to spell, and easier for me to type. I have to count how many A\’s I have typed for Tinaaaaager, and I have to admit that it\’s a little bit stupid.
Both names have unique meanings to me. For Tinaaaaager, (Gosh I swear I don\’t want to type it anymore), my Chinese given name has the same pronunciation as five, so there\’s a total of 5 A\’s. And Ger indicates Germany, which, I later find out that it\’s actually DE or DEU. Naive me. For DeinTina, it\’s obvious if I put it this way. (For those who might not know, dein stands for informal you in German) I actually started the idea with DE, inherited from the previous name. I really love the country and it\’s my dreamland and my destination, so… I tried for detina, but, the domain is already occupied, so I feel like adding something in between. I was thinking of \”in\” so I just typed it in, and BOOM! Here it comes! Dein! I know the grammar is not correct in this case, but whatever, I will take it and I am happy with it.
And when I am changing the domain of this website I actually realized that the Domain is just the link to your website. You could have multiple of them linking to the same Site, the content of your web page, to avoid misspellings or some other cases. People accessing different domains, as long as all the domains are linked to the same Site, they are eventually guided to your primary site address, where your site is displayed. Adding or deleting domains will not affect the content of your site. If you want to own webpages displaying different content, then you should have a different site and the corresponding domain linking to that site.
After I typed the explanation in the paragraph above, I found out how silly I was and I\’m glad I\’ve learned my lesson.
