Talk about yourself.

It is unnatural for us to speak directly about ourselves. We have learned to keep these things to ourselves. We have learned that it is something private and that we must \”deal\” with it on our own.

However, we are losing the ability to describe what has been in our mind, to talk to others about our feeling, to uncover our true thoughts and to communicate through our hearts.

Take feelings for example. Most of the time, when we have a feeling, we let it go. And in most of the cases, we seldom recall it. And let it fade away, because we thing that we have the same kind of feeling before and they are just it.

However, each feeling are different and unique. And when we give them some simple thought, we are directly thinking about the nature of ourselves. What kind of people we really are, what we are good at in our nature, what I can maybe do better next time.

And when we try to speak it out, we accelerated the whole process. Speaking up will require us to think everything through, and we will reconfirm, become more confident and believe what we are saying.

I still remember that BBQ trip with the friend I just met that day, and we talked about our future, our lives, and many other in-depth topics. I loved the vibe between us and the things we were doing together. A few weeks after that, I talked to a friend of mine about my future plans, by that time we only just knew each other\’s names. And that actually felt good. I used to tend not to talk about it with other people because I am dreaming big and probably too ambitious. But after talking about it, I realized that there is nothing to be afraid of.

And what I\’m doing here every day, this blog, is doing something similar. I\’m reflecting on what\’s going on in my life and learning from it.

In the future, I will be braver and more open to express myself. I am who I am, I am proud to be me, and I will speak it out.
