Clarification of tasks

When it comes to cooperation, it\’s important for one to figure out exactly what they are responsible for and what they should be working on.

I have been in multiple situations where I am on a project, and knowing we were supposed to do something and I was supposed to do something, yet I didn\’t know where to start. No one wants to set out first and then find out that all their efforts were in vain and that they could have spent more time on something meaningful if they had been given clear instructions in the first place.

When it comes to leadership, it\’s the same thing. It is important to start by making all members crystal clear about their responsibilities, the requirements, deadlines and checkpoints. Everyone has their own pace of work, but some specific things must be set in order to get things going.

While the project is in progress, there may be some changes made due to the current situation. It is also important to keep all members involved on the same page.

Leading a team is never easy, the clarification of tasks could at least guarantee a smooth start.
